Nipigon Hospital would like to extend to you a warm welcome. We look forward to your stay with us and anticipate that it will be a positive health care experience.
What You Should Bring
Patients are encouraged to bring their own clothing to the hospital including nightgowns, pajamas, robe, rubber soled slippers and a change of clothing for discharge. Personal care products such as deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, denture care products, mouth wash, hair and eye care products and personal feminine needs should also come from home. The hospital can supply some of these items for you if necessary. You are most welcome to bring your personal pillow/comforter to make your stay more enjoyable. Please bring a list of your current medications, in their original packaging, on admission. This will assist the physician to maintain your current treatment while addressing present medical problems. Any medications left at the hospital must be given to the nurse for safekeeping. It is always best to have medications and/or valuables sent home.
