EMERGENCY:

All emergency patients are triaged according to the new acuity scale.  Depending on the injuries or illness that are presented, the client will either be seen, treated and released, admitted or transferred, or sent to the Medical Clinic.

The Emergency Department has a large working room.  There are three non-monitored stretchers with xray capabilities in the trauma room.  There is also one stretcher in each of the two examination rooms. Chemotherapy is delivered in a dedicated private area.  Criticall is an active participant when organizing emergency transfers to specialized care facilities.
