Out-Patient Hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
The laboratory stresses high standards in its provision of efficient and accurate diagnostic information. This data is provided to the physicians to aid in diagnosing and monitoring a patient's condition and to facilitate the highest quality of health care as possible to the public.
Registered Technologists provide services in routine clinical chemistry (including urinalysis and serology), routine haematology (including coagulation testing), immunohaematology and microbiology, specimen collection for transport to a reference laboratory, and ECG testing for in-patients and out-patients.
The laboratory maintains an effective Quality Control Program and participates in the laboratory proficiency testing program provided by Quality Management Program - Laboratory Services (QMP-LS) and Digital PT/Health Metrx.
