The Fixing Long-Term Care Act (FLTCA), 2021
On April 11, 2022, The Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 (FLTCA) was proclaimed into force to regulate Ontario's long-term care home sector. On the same day, the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 (LTCHA) was revoked, which means it is no longer in force.

Reporting/Disclosure Requirements
Under Section 271, NDMH is required to disclose whether our home has air conditioning or not.
NDMH's resident rooms are air conditioned.
