Returning to Mask Friendly.  

In response to the Ministry of Long Term Care (MLTC) announcement provided yesterday, March 04, 2024 - the mandated masking measures have been officially ended effective immediately.  Although masking continues to be recommended for visitors and outpatients, masks are no longer required.  If you are not feeling well when entering the hospital, please wear a mask.  Thank you to everyone for your support and diligence in ensuring the health and safety of our residents, patients, staff and each other.

 

Effective February 5, 2024, the Urgent Care Clinic will be open for same day appointments Mondays and Thursdays.  Call 807-887-5252 ext 2

We understand that coming to the Hospital for health care, in particular unplanned care in the Emergency Department, can be a stressful experience, but you MUST ensure that you are conducting yourself in a respectful manner.  Our staff are here to help you.  All forms of violence, aggression, intimidation, threats or verbal abuse including swearing, yelling and verbal or physical threats WILL NOT be tolerated.  You may be asked to leave by staff or the police if you are not conducting yourself respectfully.  Our employees have the right to a workplace free from violence and intimidation.
